The imp001 card is not recommend for commercial usage. Though it is currently available to purchase, it is no longer being manufactured.
The imp002 module is no longer available. Please use the imp003, imp004m or imp005 instead, depending on your application requirements.
The imp003 (Murata Module LBWA1ZV1CD) has received Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Industry Canada (IC) modular certification for use with either an Electric Imp PIFA antenna or an Electric Imp-selected chip antenna. This allows customers to skip intentional emitter testing as long as their product meets the other modular approval criteria.
If the customer decides to use a different antenna in their imp003-based product, specifically one of a higher gain or different architecture, then they will not be able to re-use the above modular approvals and will need to perform FCC/IC intentional emitter testing themselves.
