IDE 1.26.0

Improvements

  • The IDE now provides protection against accidentally deleting inactive models. When you click ‘Delete Model’, you will now be prompted to confirm your action by a warning message. Click on ‘Confirm Delete’ to proceed with the deletion, or ‘Cancel’ to leave the model unchanged. Hint: you can click on ‘(Never mind)’ to hide the warning.
  • It is now possible to rename an unassigned device provided you are also assigning it to a model.
  • Devices can be re-assigned to factory firmware models to enable testing of non-factory functionality.
  • Ops: the ‘Add new factory imp’ panel now continuously validates entered addresses and will prevent you from clicking the ‘Update’ button if you have entered a mis-formed MAC address. Hint: look for the ‘stop’ sign adjacent to the mouse pointer.

Bug Fixes

  • The ‘Draft’ build at the top of the ‘Build’ drop-down menu now no longer disappears.
  • The Navigation Bar correctly indicates whether you are viewing the IDE or Ops Console.
  • Clicking the ‘Operations’ button in the Navigation Bar when you are already viewing the Ops Console no longer refreshes the page
  • Deleting an assigned device no longer causes the IDE to reload afresh.
  • Selecting multiple devices from the Workspace’s device drop-down menu (beneath the selected model’s name) no longer causes all of those devices to appear selected in the Model Navigator.
  • The IDE no longer allows you to create or update models with leading blank spaces in their names.
  • Toggling the start/stop logging buttons no longer causes the log messages to be formatted inconsistently.
  • The lock icon displayed when you are viewing older revisions is now correctly centered within the pane.
  • Ops: The ‘Remove Global Bond’ panel now correctly ignores leading whitespace and trailing tab characters in the password field.
  • Ops: The ‘Add new factory imp’ panel no longer remains on screen after selecting ‘Update’ when no MAC address has been entered.
